read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series

I’d read somewheres that CS Lewis had written these novels with a very heavy Christian theme. Personally, I’d never seen it. Until this one. A lot of good versus evil and very well written. It did slog a bit about half-way through, but a very satisfying end to the series (and this goal) nonetheless.

Finished The Silver Chair this evening as I was putting off finishing some stuff for work.

This one continued the story of Eustace (which was begun in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader and his transformation into the classic hero.

I really wasn’t that wild about this one…something I hope doesn’t bode ill for The Final Battle.

Woo-hoo!

The ending was kind of a let down. Kind of a so…that’s it? You’re going to solve the issue of the Tellurines by simply sending them to the Earth of Peter & crew?

I admit that’s where they came from in the first place, but still….

A month has passed and I need to turn the audio cds into the library…despite being only halfway through Prince Caspian. Renewals won’t happen because there’s a list 20+ people long.

Ah well. Looks like I’ll just do it the old fashioned way and read them in book format.

Which makes 13 out of 31. Hoping to finish this book today….

For “The Horse & His Boy.” It really was a good listen, and I’m quite sorry that it’s over.

Onward to Disc 13 and the start of “Prince Caspian.”

It’s a quiet enough day that I can spend the afternoon resolving issues while listening to the CDs, so I’m hoping to finish “The Horse & His Boy” before I leave tonight.

Just as I pulled into the driveway last night. Onward!
