I plan on traveling and living my life. I think that learning a different language than just the one i know now helps both of those categories.
i would like to learn Polish… because i am moving there in the summer but i dont know any of their language?
Flazzle wishes there was something higher than 10 on the morale-o-meter! :)
I know a little Spanish and I think it would be useful since my hometown has a huge Hispanic community. It would be easier (I have a friend who speaks it fluently) and more practical for me to learn Spanish than any other language. However, I’ve been losing interest in it lately.
Now, Italian is my thing. I don’t know when I would ever use it so I’m not sure about investing so much time and energy into it. Plus, I don’t know anyone who speaks it. Maybe I’ll just watch The Godfather over and over again. :)
I have always wanted to speak a different language. Perhaps French,or even German would be very cool. I haven’t made the effort to select books or tapes or even go online to get the needed info.
I am going to try and research this!
Im studying abroad in Perugia Italy this coming winter and spring. The program that I am studying through had a requirement of taking Italian. I’m so excited!
so that didnt work out but i am studying in Botswana and am leaning Setswana, im leaving in 6 days!
Sono_me is having a hard time changing.
Just completed my fourth semester of Italian. Though this accomplishment doesn’t mean I can speak fluently, it’s one step closer :-)
