I found an apartment I like. I have only seen pictures but checked out the property and talked to the manager. The lease is a year long and the rent is reasonable. I would like a fancier place but I think signing a 12 month lease will be beneficial because I’ll be able to save so much more with this place’s rate if I stay there a whole year.
I did the math and I can afford the place.
It is a 1 bedroom place. But it has its own washer/dryer which is important to me. The bedroom will be Phoenix’s, the rest will be like a studio apartment (so mine! haha).
I want to be moved in by my birthday, the 24th of August. So I’ll be signing the lease to start on the 15th of August, paint, and have everything moved in by my birthday :)
