I went for a visit at UMICH last week and it was AMAZING! GO BLUE!
How to get accepted to the University of Michigan

"I wanted to go to UofM since I was a kid so in my last three years of high school, I basically went on a campaign to go there."
How I did it: Hi there.
- Make sure you get the best recommendations you can get. Waive your rights to read them, though, and have faith.
- Do as much as you can outside of school. Make sure to do fun things like work on the paper or sports.
- Write to a UM professor and ask intelligent questions.
- Work those grades!
Lessons & tips: Essentially, in the year before, I took my studies VERY seriously and didn't let senioritis get to me. I also asked people, "Can you write an outstanding letter of recommendation for me?" After all, you don't just want any old letter!
