Shargal is wanting to meet Canadians! (not to date)

I want to move my family to Canada  — 5 days ago

Unfortunately, the U.S. is just not a safe place anymore. It is overpopulated, full of crime and moving in the wrong direction. Our government is not out for the public’s best interest. For our family’s safety from crime and from war, we would like to seek safety and beauty and have a great adventure by moving to Canada. I would like to know more about what the country is like and how to get there.

the pain  — 1 week ago

i seem to find all these 43Ters who are these fantastic, originally-minded, quirky, jinglejangle hooha people who make me want to MAKE things and DO stuff and !!!!! i want to go back to toronto and newfoundland and nova scotia and cross the prairies in a greyhound again, 50-some hours from toronto to edmonton and there was a real live amish family on the bus and it was so crazy and it STILL makes me want to cry when i think of not going back :(/:)?

Are my expectations too high?  — 3 weeks ago

I’ve never visited Canada personally but I feel compelled that life there will be better than here in the United Kingdom. Once I graduate I would like to make it my personal mission to permantly relocate there.

Am I being irrational as I have never visited there before?

I moved to Vancouver  — 1 month ago

Shortly after I graduated from university from the Philippines, I moved to Vancouver, BC. Although I do miss home and get homesick every now and then, living and working here has given me crazy opportunities to improve my business acumen. I am working 8 hour days during the week, but moving here has also given me the resources to pursue my passions and dabble in my own businesses.

If you have an entrepreneurial spirit but currently live in a third world country, consider moving to North America to fast track your dreams by just a little bit :)

I gave an interview yesterday night for a job in Toronto -- and I think I got it.  — 1 month ago

Although the process is not yet complete, I think I will get it. Will be working near Yonge street if everything works out. I will probably be there in about 1-2 months since I need to finish up a few things here.

Worth doing!

I’m here… In whitehorse. I don’t know anyone but the people I am staying with but I’m here…and while I miss my friends and job… I am so happy to be here and not there that I don’t really care at this point. WOOHOO.

Got the PCC and the rest of the papers ready  — 2 months ago

So, now I am at a stage that I probably have all the paper work ready to make the move. Searching for a job now, else will have to plan something else.
