How many starts to the first chapter must a writer wade through, before they realize that what they wrote initially, was okay?
The first six chapters have me tied in a massive amount of gooey-sticky, messy, bubble gum that has melted over all of my fingers. So now, when I go to punch in the keys, my hands sort of stick to the key board. Its a mess really. I think I may need a phyciritist before I complete my revisions. Some one share your secret with me, or I may go totally off the edge of the Earth, screaming, “I H-A-T-E, my book!” LOL. No, in all seriousness, I love to write, what I don’t like is this blockage I have ultimatly given to myself, the stress of worrying whether or not what I have completed will be good enough—to my collogues, family, friends, and friend authors. Is this something you have faced when working on your first book, or is it just me? Please tell lme I won’t go insane while completing my first book, hehehhehe, having a bad writing day, I’m not always this “un-glued”
Thanks for reading my vent,
now its time to get back to chapter one, again! MY GOSH feels like chapter 177!!!
