How I did it: Google "50 states quiz" and just practice with some of the quizzes on there. The main thing is to review the list daily for a week or two. After that, not too bad. Lessons & tips: Start with the states you know best and work out from there. |

How I did it: I used the following website to review for 4 days. Let the program go thru all the states a few times and you got it. OK, what I did was use this website called StudyTag. It has a nice little flash card-like lesson which you can practice. It also teaches you how to spell both the state and capital, as well as how to recognize the states by their shape and location on a map. It’s great, and I’ve successfully learned all 50 capitals using this method.

Or at least I feel that way.
Just quizzed myself on all 50 capitals and I got them all right! Well, I spelled Montpelier (which is the capital of Vermont) wrong. But I didn’t mark off for spelling. :oP
I guess the real test will come in 6 months from now…I wonder if I’ll still have them memorized by them. Here’s hoping so.
