Prove myself

prove to myself that i am worth something. I want to show the world how awesome I AM.

I want to convert my supposed potential into action. I have done small things over the course of this year that console me by demonstrating that effort does, in fact, produce results; I made it into Eastern Regionals for band, landed a job that I’ve been eyeing for months, did well in my AP course and perhaps even grown as an individual. I am ruthlessly determined to continue this quest and hope that each accomplishment gives me more confidence in myself. This is a noble journey, interweb folk, and I respect anyone who takes a part in it.

I have ruined my love and my friendships over the past 2 years, now I need to prove that I am loyal again. <3

I have faith that I can show people that even tho I have eccentric ideas and habbits, that I can do things I want to do and achieve the things I want to achieve. I do have dreams of my own. I dont need to live up to anyone elses standards but my own. And I will be the one to succeed. I want to prove to my boyfriend that i can be a better person, let him know he can do what he wants as long as it dont hurt us or others and i want him to know that i can not be as controlling and make him feel so caged and let him have his alone time.

My friends were so shocked when they found out.. it was only the shortcourse, but my other friend got a ‘D’. I told her it was still a pass and she should be proud but she seemed really down. Then again when she heard I’d got an ‘A’ she said that I [As in she meant me, not her] can’t have because I’m ‘too stupid’ =[

I was pretty gutted.. then I found out it was true, I thought STUFF HER lol. If she spent less time putting me down and more time paying attention maybe she’d have done better. I know it sounds mean but she hurt my feelings by thinking me too stupid to do well. You could tell by the look on her face she thought she’d thrash me no problem.

Well I’ll prove her wrong a thousand times if I have to, I’m sick of people thinking I’m less intelligent than them for no goddam reason. Hmm.. oddly enough when I say ‘people’, I seem to be mostly referring to my so-called friends. Well anyway, I feel like I am a step closer to proving myself, feeling happier with myself [Despite my anger at my friend lol].
