How much, approx would it cost for a short beginners course, including some flying?

with a group of fun, positive, amazing friends this Spring!

June 27th is my 40th Birthday and I will start really checking out the possibility of doing this to celebrate!!!! It’s been in the back of my mind for probably 5 years now. I am single with no children so I am not being irresponsible.

I’m just moving this to my long term goals list

It seems like a good site, but I need to register in order to be able to search the site and it kept hanging up when I tried to register. I’ll try it again later.

I’ve decided I want to accomplish this goal during the year I’m 50. I’ve got to figure out how I want to do it (tandem or solo lesson), where to do it and how to fund it. I’m going to set this goal as completed once I’ve taken one flight no matter how short it is. After that I’ll evaluate where hang gliding fits into my future and come up with other goals if need be.

... what do you do if you call the only game in town and the morons never return your calls? Take it off the list? Substitute with something I might not enjoy as much, like, say, skydiving?

.. to the local hang gliding place today… Hopefully they’ll answer the message and schedule something soon.

Well, as an interim step, I’ll go on a glider plane as a friend and her daughter are very interested in the experience too. Call the place today…

i’ve a undying urge to fly & i think hangliding’s the best way to do so…wish me luck dat dis year..I’m able 2 do dis!
