Go parasailing

I went parasailing in the Cayman Islands and it was definitely worth it!! The view was amazing!!

I want to do this, but I want my husband to go with me… He is not a big fan of oceans, and especially gliding over one. I try to explain you have a life jacket on (right?) but he has to face his fears in his own way. I don’t want to do this with anyone else.

I went parasailing in Aruba in June 2008. It was so amazing!

We did this on our honeymoon to Mauritius.. Being with your love, high up in the air, with an ocean below you..And to say i love you when you are flying there..And suddenly go plummeting for a dip in the sea.. It was all emotions mixed together.. Excitement, love, joy.. Finally when we had to land, we did not do it the right way and we fell into the sea! Ooo.. they pulled us out and i was actually glad we did not land properly for this was a nice experience too!

This was so much fun but I started feeling a little ill after a bit. I am a big girl and the thingy you sit on dug into the back of my legs, I had welts for days. It was fun, I did fly, I think I saw a shark :O They dipped me in the water on the way in but it was warm out… The guys on the boat were cute ;) It cost me almost 50 bux so it’ll probably be a good long while before I do it again! But maybe if I lose some weight I’ll do it then!

I did this many years ago in Mexico and would definitely do it again. I remember the guys telling me ‘try not to land in the ocean’ and of course I landed in the ocean. ;D Parasailing is one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Up there, it felt like I wasn’t even moving, just hanging there in the sky, watching eveything happening down below. Very cool and highly recommended~

...it wasn’t as exciting as it looked. it was really relaxing, but i was looking for some action. i almost fell asleep sitting up there, all by my lonesome just floating along.

There’s an eerie silence once you’re up. You won’t even hear the engine of the boat that pulls the parasail.

Definitely worth trying.

My husband and I have discussed doing this! I REALLY want to! When I am driving or at the beach, I always see people parasailing, and it just looks so freeing. So it’s only a matter of time before we do this :D

The best deal is about $45 but I’m waiting for it to warm up. Also going to do some research on weight and parasailing… :D
