femaledog is sick with a cold :-(
I bought a beautiful shade of matte blood red lipstick from revlon. I have yet to wear it out in public. I’m not sure what keeps me from wearing it confidently out in public. My goal is to wear it.. OUT!
How I did it: Instead of putting my normal natural lipstick on, I took it up a notch and wore red lipstick. I played everything else down. I wore boots over my jeans and a black t shirt. Make up was natural except the red lipstick. I ran errands all day and everything worked out perfectly!
Lessons & tips: Having a red lipstick day mean shaving a sexy day. You can't help but feel it. Its fantastic!
Resources: I use a mac lipliner and lipstick

bc_everlasting has her head in the clouds. Lots to think about. Lots to do.
So I decided to pull out my lipstick/gloss case that has an assortment of different reds and to put one on! :] I decided to go with a vintage hair and make up look. I wore my Vigoss skinny jeans and a gray v-cut t-shirt from Old Navy. I also paired it with a boyfriend blazer and vintage shoes from the 1960’s that are silver and have sequins all over the toes of them! I felt like a sexy diva goddess in this! Even with the jeans and gray t-shirt. My mom wasn’t a fan and nobody started swooning at the sight of me.. but it was still a ton of fun to do. I plan on finding a perfect shade of red to go with my fair skin and red hair so I can make it one of my regulars!
Oplleez is shopping for Friday the 13th!
Every day this week, right before leaving the house, I’ve put on the boldest shade of red lipstick I could find. The first day was a little difficult for a while, but it’s been smooth sailing since then. This isn’t gonna be a daily habit, but I’m pretty confident that I won’t have anymore problems with rocking a crimson pout.

I ADORE red lipstick, but its one of those colors that makes you feel so conspicuous and self-concious. However, it also makes me feel bold and powerful and sexy. I wear it from time to time, so I guess my goal isn’t really to wear it. It’s to wear it often and confidently.

I bought a tube of this really nice pink lipstick that I have been wearing daily. I figure it’s a good way to get used to wearing lipstick all the time, and the transition to red will be easier.

I wore a little bit today! It’s a start. I definitely want to start wearing a more noticeable shade though.
I have red lipstick and I’ve worn it before, but never outside the house! I love the way it looks on me but I’m not brave enough to wear it in public. Maybe when I’m a little older (no one my age wears lipstick these days, let alone red!) or if I have the right occassion I’ll get up the nerve. Would it count if I wore it as part of a costume?
is sitting in my makeup case right now. Truly retro. But I don’t have the guts to use it. I need the perfect dress to match it with. :)
L’Oreal Color Riche lipstick in “Target Red” – it’s a limited edition shade that you can only purchase at Target.
Anytime I wear an outfit fancier than a t-shirt and jeans, I dab this lightly on my lips and I’m ready to go – no other makeup necessary, as the lips take center stage. It’s a lovely look!
