Music is my life and passion.
If i didn’t have music, I would go insane.
Literally
I’ll probably end up being that one starving musician on the side of the road that still refuses to sell their instruments.
and you know what? I don’t care ‘cause I will be doing something I love.

First off…im 17 years old and I have played in two bands, toured the country, met tons of people and this has been the greatest experience of my “short” life. I just recently realized that music IS my life and my dream will come true no matter what it takes. Nothing else can make me change my mind on that decision. The day I graduate high school I will be on tour full time. Im completely serious about what I do and so are my band mates, who are like brothers to me. I just feel like I have such a good start at this so I really need to pursue this. I have wanted to do this for a career since age 6 when i picked up the guitar. I can’t even begin to explain how bad I want this and how much I am willing to put in to just make it. If anyone has any advice please let me know. We are kind of an indie/rock with a bit of techno beat stuff. Its different but I have learned that that’s what catches so many producer’s/label’s attention. Any contacts would be greatly appreciated.

Being in a band is like a bad marriage from the start. Sure there are a few bands that stay together for years but 5 years seems to be the maximum. I play keyboards actually (and guitar) and have been trying to put a band together for 2 years. Unbelievable!!! Usually as a keyboard player I never had a problem. I still get a lot of fill in calls and studio work but can’t find people my age that will stay committed. The drama meter just never goes down with musicians I guess. I have been in many bands since I was a teenager and only 2 lasted for the 5 years. Just because a person is in their 50’s doesn’t mean they are dead….
