blueirisTry, try again

Ok, starting this again tomorrow. Same basic rule, except that I can spend an hour every other day on non-essential things, i.e. researching info I don’t really need to know, updating 43 things, reading the occasional blog. Onward! 7 years ago

blueirisA month later

This was a semi-success; with less internet time, I read a bunch of books, knitted a hat, worked on some projects that have been languishing, and got my lazy butt back into the gym. But, I didn’t really fulfill the letter of the goal, so I’ll have to give this one another try before I can call it done. 7 years ago

I’m still not used to Seattle winters, and I find myself inside at my computer hiding from the gloom, and creating more of my own, instead of doing something worthwhile. So, starting on January 1st, no non-essential internet use! (Not because it is a New Year’s resolution; the first of the month is just an easy time to start.) I can check email once or twice a day, look up bus schedules, and work on job searches, but nothing else. 7 years ago
