I have tried to do this program numerous times straight through. I just can’t do it, it’s too boring for me that way. So I’m going to try incorporating the workouts with other ones, namely Turbo Jam and yoga. Hopefully this will give me enough variety and stamina to complete it. I will mark this goal as complete when I have done 45 sculpting workouts, 45 cardio workouts, and 45 ab workouts.

I’m sick of your voice! I have every phrase and word of encouragement memorized from the Power 90 tape. So, I played my audition tape music today while I did my workout. SOO MUCH EASIER! I was a bit on autopilot, not exactly paying 100% attention to what I was doing but it made the workout do-able and I know I can complete them if I listen to something. My brain’s going numb and that’s not really motivating!

Ok, so the universe complied 8 months ago

and gave me exactly what I need to keep motivated. I haven’t been losing weight like I wanted and now I have another motivator to keep on top of my workouts: I will be meeting up with an old flame in 6 weeks. He’s kind of magical to me… and I’m using this as motivation to keep my eye on the prize so to speak. It’s not about being a certain size for a man… it’s about being all that I am and letting him see that. So instead of hiding and being afraid and protecting myself with my weight…. I’m putting myself out there and have COMMITTED to my success.

This week has been a really busy one and most of my workouts have not happened. I wish I had have brought my workout stuff with me for the long weekend though—so many times I’ve wanted to go for a run or lift some weights.

I’m absolutely committed to finishing on time, however. It means keeping on top of my SCHEDULE and sticking to it, regardless to what else is happening in my day. I’m going to schedule in a few more workouts and make this happen.

That’s the other side of this goal: sticking to a schedule, no matter, because what I’m moving to is so much better than where I’m moving from. And I know I can do this. It’s just a matter of committing… to myself.

I need some help 9 months ago

to keep motivated wtih Power 90. I’m absolutely committed to completing the full 13 weeks. I would really like to have something… an image, a mantra, a vision… something specific to help me out when I’m feeling the burn.

I’m going to trust that by putting that out there the universe will give me exactly what I need.

is finished!

The workouts are marginally easier, but I haven’t really seen any earth shattering changes yet.

This week I am going to be consistent with my workout times. Consistency will help me out for sure.

2 more motivators 9 months ago

My good friend CF asked if I’d be interested in a going to Cuba with her this March. I can’t do it this year – the finances just won’t support it. But I told her that I’m absolutely up for it next year. This is a double sword, as I also wouldn’t feel as comfortable on the beach this year as I would be next year… in a slender, fit, toned and sexy body that I’m molding.

My second motivator is a little less time specific…. but as strong as anything I’ve every held as a goal: I want to have sex. I want to be open and connected and act on the impulses I feel. I want to have lustful sex; I want to make love; I want to learn; I want a one night stand; I want a soulmate and a lover; I want a friend with benefits; I want to experience all that I can experience and live a full life.

I’m already down 50 pounds and I feel so much more alive and so much more like “myself”. I can imagine how amazing I will feel when I a down another 50 pounds, and I’m fit and toned too. By September I will be a completely new person :)

I feel like a zombie 9 months ago

Wow…. so I went to bed really late last night. Like after 3am. I was hanging out with a friend who I won’t see for a long, long time. So I decided to sleep til I woke up and take the day as it comes today.

I’m not sure what part was the bad choice: staying out late, sleeping in, or not doing P90 first thing. I’m in such a daze. Off I go to do the cardio….

Couldn’t believe how easy the cardio was today. Seriously. I was ready to take it easier, as to not get discouraged, but it was good today! Need to take care with the punches… my shoulder is a bit tender tonight :(
