"I learned that I am a human being, and I can't let myself do things I know in my heart aren't the right thing to do."

How I did it: I just knew that I couldn't go on treating myself like I was worthless. I now know I am worth more than just an object for someone to toy with. I'm a human being.

Lessons & tips: Don't let other people persuade you into doing things you want to do. Do things because you want to do them. Not because everyone else wants you to.
