Istanbul – the Hagia Sophia, Chora Church, the market, the fragrances of spices in the air. My whole family went – the tour was arranged through Yallah. We had a guide who was fluent in French, Spanish, English and of course Turkish. We took a small boat from Bodrum along the coast. Fresh cheese and tomatoes for breakfast. I still think about the food. I would go again in a heartbeat. Ephesus – wow.
it’ so wierd to hear people talking about Turkey like it’s so bizarre and amazing… i always feel awkward there since i have an accent in Turkish. but yeah, it’s a pretty cool country. less fat people than in America.
I am still in Turkey right now, but I can’t wait to go home because I miss my family and friends sooo much! But Turkey is so beautiful, I love it! My favorite is the mosques, they are so gorgeous with the detailed ceilings and walls. I also love the call to prayer, that plays about 4 times a day over the speakers of mosques spread around the counrty…so beautiful and relaxing. Eventho I’m agnostic, I fully appreciate and love it! Walking into the mosques is seriously one of those life changing experiences. I would defiantely love to come back to Turkey one day! Oh and I love the çay here! :D
It’s amazing there!!!!! I love it, I always go because that is where my father comes from so I have lot’s of family there. Istanbul is beautiful, everything about it.
...but loved it – and next time I go I definitely want to see more of the country – it’s fascinating and beautiful
