I can’t believe I’ve done this for a year… I suppose I could mark this off as “done” but I like this one too much… I’ll keep it on until I need more room.

FYI: This is a great goal… sign up! It’s fun and easy!

    Italian Beef – so easy!

    1 1/2 lb. flank steak
    1 1/2 c. tomato basil pasta sauce
    1/2 c. Italian dressing
    1 Tbs. chopped garlic
    1/4 c. red wine
    1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning

Rinse and pat dry flank steak, marinade 1/2c. pasta sauce, salad dressing and garlic in ziploc bag for 1-8 hours. Take out 30min. before grilling. Grill 6-7 min. per side on direct high heat…

Sauce: remaining pasta sauce, wine and seasoning… bring to boil and serve with steak!

    Yummmmmm….

    Garlic Chicken

This recipe actually called for game hens but I had chicken in the freezer so I used that instead. Very flavorful… a bit too pungent for me though.

    4 Cornish game hens
    Extra-virgin olive oil
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
    2 Tbs. bottled lemon juice
    1 Tbs. herbes de Provence
1 jar (6oz) prepeeled whole garlic

Rub olive oil and salt/pepper on poultry… broil until skin turns golden. Combine soup, lemon juice & herbes in bowl… put everything in slow cooker, cover and cook on high for 3-5 hours.

    Teriyaki Chicken Noodle

My husband’s neice is spending the week with us and she picked out this recipe which surprised me because there were cooked carrots and spiniach in it. It turned out… soso, I over cooked the somen noodles so they were a sticky goooey mess. I don’t think I’m make it again, only because I’m not a big teriyaki person and neither is hubby…
