Read 24 books this year

I set this goal in Jan. 2008 and so far I have got 13 read. I am pretty proud of myself even though I am only 1/2 the way there. I have already read more books than I did last year. So Worth It.

I finished over the weekend, and while it wasn’t one of my favorite books (and because of this took me a while to get through, despite its short length), I did take some really good things from it. I marked some quotes and the narrative style was fairly interesting. I’m not sure I’ll jump at the chance to read Faulkner again anytime soon, though.

Two books a month. I’m pretty sure I can handle that easily, and have beaten that in the past, but 2007 was a lame year for me and reading, so I want to get back into it.

If I pass it, I’ll add more books to the number!
