While the election I worked on lost (sad, I know), I definitely feel like I contributed my bit!
With some campaigns my volunteering payed off. (I just wish Darcy Burner was elected to Congress instead of Riechert.)
I wrote about this under my goal “Get Out The Vote,” if anyone is interested in reading about my experience on election day.
I volenteer for the Democratic Party. I hope my effort and that of others will get Congressmen(women) and Senators (re)elected. If we take back the Legeslative Branch then we can impeach Bush or at least give his administration hell for the next two years. :)

Honor Kos in NYC & Outthink The Right. Sit around watch the tv all day (whoopies, hits little too close to home) or go to DailyKos and make it happen people

I got into an argument with someone at my internship. It was an empowering one to say the least. Since I intern in finance, I guess I should get used to staring at conservatism in the face daily. I have no problem with Republican ideals, I just strongly don’t believe in them.
I think I can safely say that I will be a Democrat my entire life. And I’m not ashamed to say it. :]
