    Although I’m sure TV iw one of the things that compete with my quality time with my kid, I use it to relate with him by knowing what he watches and asking him what happened in the shows that he watches. It helps us to talk with each other better and it also helps him organize his thoughts (which will be quite handy when he grows up).
