Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Pray the Rosary every day during Lent

MelissaRosary Progress

Haven’t been writing entries here, but I have been keeping up. I misses one time, and half-assed it once since I fell asleep listening to a poor quality recording of the Rosary. Doing pretty darn well. I’ve just got to get my butt into church again… confession too! 3 years ago

I’ve done it every day except yesterday and feel really bad for it. I don’t quite think there’s a legitimate way of making up for it, but I’m going to try my best. 3 years ago

MelissaPray the Rosary during Lent: Day 5

I did that yesterday evening, but I was sooooo wiped out that I just felt like I was going through the motions to get to bed and not hearing the words of feeling the feelings like I normally do. Hopefully tonight I’ll feel better.

I try to meditate on the mysteries, but the descriptions I read confuse me. If anyone has good tips or sources, I’m open to listening. 3 years ago

MelissaPray the Rosary during Lent: Day 4

Was unable to do it in the a.m. though, because I’m a sorry excuse for a morning person…. 3 years ago

MelissaPray the Rosary during Lent: Day 3

DONE! :)

Going to try to do it in the A.M. before getting out of bed. I don’t like putting this off as my last event in the day, as if I may forget…

Let’s see if that works for me. 3 years ago

MelissaIt's Lent!

Time to find a way to grow a little closer to God! Hopefully, this will give me a little more faith, discipline, and enthusiasm that I’m in need of. 3 years ago
