I was really busy and then I got sick, but today I felt better and the sun was shining bright, so I made progress on some items on my list:

• get rid of old paper: this is almost done, I’ve got 1 small bag left
• clean microwave: done

• get rid of the dead plants and bring in live ones: dead plants are all gone, next step is buying a few live ones

• do all the laundry: this is almost done, just a few items left that have to be handwashed, then I’m completely on top 1 month ago

My list for spring 2013. There are more rooms to do, but this is intimidating enough for the moment…

• clean windows of glass-door cupboard

Wiped down the sink and counter. Took everything off shelf above sink and discarded anything expired, vitamins, etc., then wiped down shelf before replacing stuff. Washed water filter container. 2 months ago

Get rid of all the things that I’m not using: duplicates, items in cupboards & fridge, bathroom cabinet, junk mail

Clean surfaces (sinks, tub, toilet, floors, countertops), behind cabinets

Consolidate shelving (move plastic shelves together, one on top the other)

Remove books I’m not using to be put in storage. 2 months ago

It’s a new year, a new spring, and I’ve got the urge to spring clean again. I started Friday night with a mighty fridge cleaning session, getting into nooks and crannies that have never been cleaned before.

I’ll think about a little list of spring cleaning todos over lunch. 2 months ago

Did lots of work on Friday – cleaned along skirting boards and door frames etc. Got just a few windows and window tracks left and it’ll be done. And to sort out some cupboards! 3 months ago

Kitchen benches and tiles on wall are done. Ant is doing the verandah today! 4 months ago

It certainly has been labour day for me.

Threw out old spices, wiped down walls, cleaned out cupboard underneath the sink, scrubbed sink, cleaned oven, wiped drawers and washed cutlery holder, thew out expired products and cleaned fridge, cleaned microwave, swept & mopped

Living Room
Vacuumed, dusted

Bedroom
Changed sheets, dusted, emptied bin

Bathroom
Cleaned mirror, toilet, top of washing machine & shower

Other
Wiped skirting boards, x2 loads of washing done & hung out

The only things left that I need to do are shampooing the rug and washing the quilt. If the mood strikes me I just may clear out the two drawers in the living room as well. But definitely no more for today. Enjoying a cherry beer now :) 7 months ago
