How I did it: I broke the screen on my old phone, and I was just starting to use it alot more. When my mom realised I needed it, she brought me the new LG KS360. I broke the screen by throwing it hard against the ground from about 2 meters in the air, so it hit the ground at quite a speed aswell. I also kept scratching it, everywhere it was possible. I am really likeing the look of the Nokia N97 (http://www.nokia.com.au/find-products/all-phones/nokia-n97/specifications#hardware-kim). It has a better camera than the iPhone, and I probably wont have to wait another month to get the damn thing.
But there is a catch. Currently My service provider is 3, and I would like to remain with 3. I can’t really afford the $899 to buy the phone outright. Which means more than likely I will have to go with another carrier. I am hesitant to do this, my choices are Vodafone (poor coverage), Virgin Mobile (poor cutsomer service) or Optus (website horrible).

Currently need a new phone, mine is dying. I am on the list to get a new iPhone 3GS and according to the dealer I will be waiting a minimum of about 3 weeks. Not Good. Everywhere from here to Sydney appears to be out of stock of iPhone 3GS! Ahhh!!

Ok. I’m not bothered about camera phones, bluetooth, mp3s and games in my phone. All I want to be able to do is text and call. So, because I don’t care about all that crap which would probably confuse me anyway, I’ve come away with a nice looking phone that didn’t cost me the earth.
(I must say that it does happen to have bluetooth and camera and mp3 functions – probably rubbish though – but they’re likely to be neglected anyway :-S I’m not really one for technology…)

Well, Just look at it! It’s held together with tape. I know I could just get a new skin for it, but it’s not just cosmetically challenged. The battery only holds it’s charge for three minutes if you get a call, and even if you do manage to speak to someone, you have to find the voice among strong distorted buzzing.

that I need a new phone. My current one keeps suddenly losing all battery power and all my attempts (external charging, cleaning of contacts, getting a new battery pack, etc.) have not helped for very long.
So today I’ve done a little research to see what new phone might fit me and have just placed the order.
