stop buying things

Oh a horrible horrible set back. I bought a TON of stuff. I just wonder…what is the matter with me that I would do something against my own goal???

I actually have enough stuff. I want to get rid of some but there is no use if I am at the same time bringing in more of it. One example : I have more books than I can imagine reading. I would like to read them and either keep them on the shelf or get rid of them. Plus anyway I have the library. And as a second thing I want to keep my money.

YES. I just turned down a patio bistro set off craigslist that I had wanted this morning – took a look at the mess that is our yard and realized it would be a big waste! There’s 30 bucks well unspent.

I’m doing very very well with this one. I find that if you just cut out the temptation the money stays in the pocket!!! I have been invited out to many money spending adventures, and, I have JUST SAID NO! Of course now I have to figure out what to do with all this extra time!!! hee hee

i think im cured. well, for a little while at least. i cant really buy anything when i have no money and i officially have about 17 dollars in my bank account so i cant even take any money out of the atm. oh well

there are far more better things to enjoy in this life—than the material objects that collect dust
