and i can tell and others can tell that i’ve become a better photographer. there’s a lot more work to do in the future, but indefinitely this is a goal that i will never give up on. 13 months ago

i took a 365 self-portrait project that will hopefully send me off to a better place once i finish. so far i’m on day 4 and it’s quite a challenge. since i’ve been taking them at night, i’m getting a lot of practice changing settings on the camera (what i need more work on). also, i really abhor photos of myself, but this project is teaching me to learn to accept my looks. this is a grueling process, but i’m excited to participate in it :) 20 months ago

i’ve been obsessed with the urge to photograph, to arrange photoshoots, and to produce work. i REALLY WANT to better myself as a photographer and i want to find my style and my strengths. i want to produce work with a WOW factor, but i know it’ll take some time to develop this.

what i do know is what to work on, which is developing ideas/themes. another thing is to have myself be the model, so i can better understand the flexibilities and capabilities of the human body… that way i can better communicate my ideas to my models in the future.
