About navigating your way through L.A. if you are a newcomer. I’m really trying to work on my writing and not let it fall on the back burner.

Working on it 2 years ago

I’ve been writing a bunch of articles about organizing for a newletter that one of my new networking contacts is putting together.

I need to work on blogging more and journaling more

Well, now with the failing of my bible class and my graduation date most surely being pushed back, the idea of going to grad school, at least right now is (1) unappealing and (2) not likely to happen. So perhaps I will work on other ways to be more proficient in writing.

    I'm considering... 4 years ago

pursuing a masters of fine arts in writing…considering it. I dont know if thats a wise idea or not.

    I'm trying, I'm trying 4 years ago

writing is one of those things right now like “spend more time reading” that I have a strong desire to do – and its not like the computer and oodles of pens and paper arent in easy reach. Its just challenging for me. And I do feel encouraged when I get something out, because I read it and its just so bland and boring and not very interesting to read. That’s unfortunate.

I wrote a poem this morning 4 years ago

I wrote a poem this morning. I can’t remember the last time I did any form of creative writing. How very sad.

My poem is about a banana. It’s kind of depressing, and not very good. But it’s something!

    Writing helps 4 years ago

The whole idea behind the curriculum at Ham-Tech is writing, and the better you can write, the more it helps. And since writing is (obviously) my weakness, improving it will help me with my other goal, getting onto the dean’s list.
