angelina is waking up. Maybe.
Since my mom borrowed my truck (she’s still got it), I’ve been left with the bike as my only ride. So, whether (and weather) I like it or not I’m a riding fool. ;D

...as gas prices take off like the space shuttle delivering spare toilet parts.
the bike has just sat in the garage for almost a year.
No more. Called my insurance agent, called my mechanic, and renewing DMV registration. It will be on the road again soon.
The Hawk will fly again.
Is a L’il Tikes Big Wheel from school and I can’t get the kids off of it!
Last ride 3/2/08. less than 50 miles through locals hills. Always feels exhilarating and somehow very serene.
is tomorrow! Yippee! Now that the weather has agreed to cooperate…i.e., no more blistering days too hot to wear a helmet and jacket…I’ll be on my way up over Sonora Pass. I’m looking forward to some Fall color at the higher elevations. I’ll take pics and post ‘em soon.
and no traffic. Zero. Nada. None. No cars, no trucks, no other bikes, no cattle, no horses, no coyotes- I had the road completely to myself. God, I love going fast. :)
The mountain passes will be opening soon, too, so I’ll take my annual trip over Sonora Pass.
took the Hawk for a spin through the countryside. Woo hoo! There’s nothing like a ride in the Spring. :)
And pretty soon, I’ll start riding to work instead of driving the truck. That’ll save on gas big time, and be fun, too.
