I’ll see how far I can get this year, then start fresh next year!
Let’s see if I can remember what I’ve read so far…
1) My Sister’s Keeper – Jodi Picoult
2) Deathly Hallows – J. K. Rowling
3) Ashes to Ashes – Jennifer Armintrout
4) Possession – Jennifer Armintrout
5) Oh My Goth – Gena Showalter
I know I’m missing some, but not a lot… Mostly I read things for school, but I’m not counting those. I need 14 per month, which is unlikely with my AP classes and extracurriculars and socializing and eating and sleeping and such, but I’m crazy enough to try!

I managed 68 books in 2006 which is six more than in 2005 so I’m happy because it is closer than I expected to get in the middle of the year. I will try again this year and all I need is seven more books and I’ll have achieved it. I’m already one book down.
I am also going to try and keep better records of the titles of the books I’ve read this year.

I took several books on holiday with me to read and release and how many books did I actually read – 1. I need to read over 6 books a month at the moment to meet this goal and I’m currently on 2 this month – what has gone wrong? Have I lost the desire to read?

I have now read 50 books this year (unfortunately I haven’t got a list of them at the moment). However I still need to read 6.25 books a month to meet this goal (that is the same as I started off the year with).

Yippee, I’ve had a bumper month (although some of this is due to being ill so staying in bed) and so far in February I’ve read 8 books which almost makes up for the books I didn’t read in January.
6. Empress Orchid (now started on a ring)
7. The shadow of the wind
8. Inside organisations – Charles Handy
9. The Magicians’ guild – Trudi Canavan
10. Eragon – Christopher Paolini
11. Clutter control – Jeff Campbell

I’ve finished two books this week, so perhaps I’m starting to play catch up.
4. Reading Lolita in Tehran – Azar Nafisi
5. 501 ways to save money – Pamela Donald
I’ve still got to read over 6 books a month though

At the start of January I needed to read 6.25 books a month to meet this goal, as I only read 3 books last month this has increased to 6.55 books a month. I’m only half way through my first book this month as well, this is starting to look like a tough goal.
