Embrace being single!

I really do feel that this past few months I have enjoyed a life as a single person. Not that I have been doing anything wild – far from it! But it has been good to concentrate on myself for a while and not think of myself in relation to another person. I am enjoying that freedom and believe that I will have far better boundaries when I enter into my next relationship. After all, you have to live with ourself 24/7 so you might as well know you can do it well!

I am 46 years old and since the age of 15 I have been single for all of 2 months! That’s not me bragging, by the way – far from it!! I think it is about time that I spent some good quality time with myself for a change! There are things I would like to do that I have thought I couldn’t do becasue I spent that time with my ex (he is my ex since last night when I found the courage to finally end a 5 year relationship that I have known for ages wasn’t right). Now is the time to really spread my wings and see what I am capable of!
