I have never met my mother’s dad (her mother adopted her out), but I want to reconnect with this heritage.It is a small part of who I am, but a part I want to know better. I have always been intrigued with the cherokee culture and way of life and now I am going to learn the Tsalagi language as well as study their rituals,ceremonies, and history beyond what I am already familiar with. I am very excited. I learn language fairly easily so I hope to be speaking and reading it soon. Wish me well!
