I had a tattoo started back in 2008 by my friends sister – a pink and purple butterfly with a cancer ribbon for the body on my shoulder blade. The idea was to have flowers added cascading down my back. What I ended up with is cartoony pink and purple flowers sporadically placed down my back. I did not love it. It wasnt me. I wanted a bright, vibrant flower garden down my back. So, I didnt have her finish it even though I was getting a good deal.

I went on Saturday to a friend’s artist and after 4.5 hours I had the start of what I was looking for. 4 months ago

...because it’s one that will be completed once enough money has been saved. My half sleeve is, at the moment, half complete but by the end of the year my ladies will be shaded and coloured and I will wear them proudly. 23 months ago
