well some how i did it. i never new meditating could be so hard…!!! i just couldn’t sit down, but before sleeping i managed to focus and meditate for about 10 minutes. it was not perfect but you no i think as time goes by i can improve …................

as a child i used to meditate regularly. that is the the period of my life during which i think i was most carefree , happy,and focused. unconsciously i think my mind wants to achieve the freedom and the care free nature of the past. well i dont understand any thing about life except that solution to the biggest problems in lies in the simplest of things. i think its time i started to meditate again and start being carefree again.

My mom sent me a link to some online meditation “podcasts”. The topics of the meditations vary widely, I have listened to the meditation on “compassion”. I am looking forward to the body awareness meditation, once I have some time to sit down and listen to it.

Jane2009 is writing her list of things to do in 2009.
I went to the New Kadampa Centre in North Bimingham the weekend before last for a morning introductory session.
I think personally I prefer the FWBO approach, so I may do one of the introductory courses there.

Since I’ve now been doing this naturally, especially during times of stress and uncertainty, I will consider this goal complete. Meditation has now become a new habit for me when I need to quiet negative thoughts :)

It’s been a long time since I made my last entry and I haven’t yet gotten back to regular meditation.
I need it, and I know I need it, so I just bought two affirmations cds by Susan Jeffers and one guided meditiaton by Jon Kabat-Zinn. All three for less than one therapist visit : )
I think I will use these on the bus as I commute, or before bed.

Kati_21 is recovering after working the morning shift
I meditated for a good ten minutes this morning before doing yoga. I forgot how much I enjoy it…it’s peaceful. Hopefully, I can start working my way up to longer ones.
