But every time a date pops up something seems to happen to prevent this from taking place.
But I haven’t given up yet =)
My local home from home is a goth/metal nightclub called Hobbits. It’s dark, dingy, far too hot and smells bad but it is my favourite place to go and I have met most of my closest friends (and my boyfriend) there. I started going there when I was coughseventeencough and have never looked back. The friends I have who don’t go there think it’s “scary” which I find highly amusing. For anyone who’s never been to a goth club before, GO NOW! They are so much fun and you can really let yourself go and have a great time cos no one judges anyone else. They accept the fact that everyone is an individual and it is really easy to make friends as everyone is up for a laugh. Anyway, ‘real’ Goths don’t exist any more so most of the people you’ll meet in a goth club are down-to-earth, regular people who just like to dress up for the fun of it.
Threads is looking forward to finishing school...for now.
Have not been to one in years…however, Philly has a few great ones…the bank or district and the 8th floor. Now that I moved out west to Oregon, not so many…
When I was getting a manicure and pedicure in Philly a bunch of goth kids were getting their nails done. My color was a light pink. Theirs was black. We all got to talking, they were really cool. They had came up from Florida in honor of some big goth Vampire Ball that night. They kept saying, “It’s really weird, you’re so cool.” For some reason they were in shock. Funny how people judge one another solely based on hair color, clothes, etc. Maybe initially they thought I was just a silly little blonde girl. Who knows. Anyways, they invited me and I met them there. Really really fun!!!
