design, build and own my own cottage

I read Cottage Living all the time, and I really just want a GIANT, cozy cottage on some waterfront property. I want to design it (with an architecht so that it stays up), help construction workers build it, decorate every room, and raise a family in it. I want a big garden and some pets. Maybe even a rod iron or picket fence…
