We’ve been together for eleven months, and close friends for four years. We make peanut butter and jam look like a joke. I don’t know why I’m so nervous, but I’m done with putting it off. I need to stop making excuses, (I look like crap, I think I’m getting a cold, it’s not the right moment…) because I’m only frustrating myself, and prolonging the anticipation. I’m glad it didn’t happen right away, but I’m getting tired of waiting for it to finally happen.
So,
I’m going to do it within the next month.

He’s absolutely perfect.

Sometimes when we’re sitting together, I just imagine it..
He would turn to me suddenly and say ‘Kiss me.’ and I would say ‘What?’ and he would just do it, just kiss me.

A friend of mine, getting closer by the day.
The best friend of my ex-boyfriend who’s still in love with me.
Freshly single.
Out of my league.
Viewing me as a friend.
Hard to read.
Not wanting to date.
Just wanting to have fun.
Maybe dropping hints.
Maybe just confiding in me.
He’s all of these things. And I can’t think about him without yearning to feel his lips against mine. Maybe just once. Maybe more. I don’t want to date him, I just want to kiss him.
