Many thanks to Daniel at 43things for sending me instructions on how to return this goal to my line-up. It is my most important goal after all!

OMG! This was so much fun. I did it for the Helping Kids At Hopkins group on Ravelry.

I saw the pattern for Cookie Monster Hat and it went crazy after that. I’ve been making No Hair Day forever and this was great fun. Many thanks to my DH who was my first model, but I wanted a clearer picture of the legs.

This hat can stretch a lot and can fit a small to large head. People/Kids with cancer are often on steroids which puffs out the face and head for a while. Trust me.

I Crocheted free-form eyes gathered at the back, stuffed and then flared with increases to insert through hat wherever you want.

Each set of two legs is a foot of black I-cord stuck in-then-out of the hat. Two for each side. They can be removed, as can the eyes for comfort and wear beyond Halloween.

    Brilliant!

For some reason it took me forever to get this out of the UFO pile, I didn’t want to pick up ‘leventy seven stitches around the brim. But once I did, it turned out really nice.

I know, I know. Another No Hair Day. But this one matches so nicely and Diane swears they love the pattern.

    10. Seasick Chemo Cap 2 years ago

This was a challenge. I took a pattern for a preemie cap and used a bulky yarn, larger needle and increased number of repeats to make an adult sized cap. After much trial and input from my husband and a friend at Ravelry.com, Voila!

It’s cotton yarn, very soft and cushy.

Since the first one was such a hit and I had another ball of the red eyelash, I whipped up another one.

The lavender yarn again. The lace I had to start three times because of a Kevin Costner I was watching at the time. I found out I like knitting lace though.
