I bought my house about 16 months ago, knowing that the kitchen needed to be remodeled soon – I don’t think it has been upgraded since the 1960’s or 70’s, except for the laminate floor laid over an original hardwood floor. The island housing the cooktop and oven is a backwards L and makes what should be an extremely spacious kitchen feel cramped (as does the side-by-side fridge). While the cabinets are solid wood, the shelves are at a non-adjustable, too short height. So, a kitchen update is necessary.

Well we have laid new floors. I have bought the new counters and garbage disposal. Now all I have to do is buy 3 new windows, curtains, paint, a new sink, and a new faucet. Then remove the old wallpaper and install everything new.
