cranberrygoddess has just noticed 43 things has dumb status updates like facebook
so if nothing happens by then I’ll take it off my list. Guess I was just too busy cramming the best part ofa masters course and moving away from home to the other side of the world into a year to fit this one in. Good luck to you all in this goal though.

My husband, two kids and I are coming to celebrate the New Year in Times Square and I am SO excited! I’m going to meet a friend I made
while playing the AOL online game GoldRush while we are there. I’m just getting started on my list but I have always sort of done something like it, on my own, my whole life. I think it is the best thing a person can do!

Anyone planning on doing this again? I missed the last one. How about something in the near future?

Mostly we talked about 43 Things and some of its features that I have yet to explore, the lists for one.

or at least, my plan…
I’m going to show up a little before 8:30pm with a small “43things!” sign I’ll put on the table. I have actual pictures of me up in my profile, too. I scouted it out yesterday and it looked like there are a few grab-a-seat tables right in the front. The main room and upstairs looked more like a restaurant, and it might be difficult to keep a tab if we have people drifting in and out. I don’t know where I’ll actually be sitting, but that’s the lay of the land. See you guys then!

So, City Bakery isn’t open after 8pm, and Michael can’t come until 8:30. The other two places [Max Brenner and Michel Cluizel Chocolates in ABC] are open ‘til midnight on Friday. It looks like we’ll have at least four people for this meetup…
So, rollcall time! Can you make it at 8:30pm tomorrow [and if not, give another time that’s good for you…] and which of those two is your favorite? We can always do a hot chocolate crawl if people want, but we do need to start at one place or the other.

I looks like we have five or so takers for hot chocolate in or around Union Square on November 17th sometime after work. People have floated City Bakery, a cafe in ABC Carpet+Home and Max Brenner’s… Anyone else up for it?
