• Holiday Ale Festival
• Visiting my friend for New Years Eve
• Hopefully snowboarding, if it ever snows

• Vacation! Hawaii! Only get to look forward to it for 3 days since we just decided last night and leave in 2 days!
• Being employed for real
• Thanksgiving
• Buy Nothing Day shenanigans

About half of my September items didn’t end up happening. :(
But for October I am excited for Halloween, maybe getting my contact prescription renewed, partying a little, wearing boots.. I don’t know. I am angry that it is no longer sunny.

• Eagles of Death Metal show on Halloween!
• My birthday
• Getting the swing of the new temp job
• A big hug from the boyfriend. I really need a hug right now and I get to see him tomorrow
• A massage (hopefully)
• My class reunion (if I can find a cat sitter)

I’ve been trying to do this for a while now, and I’m having a rough time coming up with stuff that’s meaningful for me, so I’ve added some non-food type treats to my list just to get this done.

March – Brian’s bday & St. Patricks’ day
April – buy myself flowers
May – Towel Day
June – buy myself a piece of jewelry
July – Bob’s bday
August – buy myself a dress
September – buy myself new shoes
October – Halloween
November – Alysa’s bday and Thanksgiving
December – Destiny’s bday and Christmas

Exciting things in September include..
Going to CANADA, playing hardcore rugby (in Canada), playing only-sort-of-hardcore collegiate rugby, renewing my contacts prescription, my sister visiting, aaand school starting (although I have mixed feelings about that one).

PLUS, it is still sunny, so maybe I will go to the beach. Woo!

• My last day at my current job!
• Octoberfest party at my current job, you can bet all us laid off folks are going to get drunk on the company dime!
• Getting more serious and organized about job hunting.

• Either having a new job or having paid time off!

For the rest of August I will look forward to buying skis on sale, hiking, and bumbershoot.

NOTHING but cheese or bacon for a whole day? I may burn myself out on them, and that would be tragic.

I have something I’m looking forward to for December: the Twilight movie! :)

UPDATE: the Twilight movie’s release date was changed to Nov.

• That job interview that still isn’t scheduled aside from “sometime in August”
• Hearing one way or another from the gov’t job
• Finding out if I’m laid off or not!
