Taking an active role in church is wonderful! I’m now attending three times a week, singing in the choir as the youngest member by probably fifteen years, and helping to direct the children’s Christmas contata. I love it!

Well, I’ve moved back home, so now I’m attending church 2-3 times/week, which is nice. I’ve also rejoined the choir, which I love. I’m, by far, the youngest member at 23. I highly doubt that there is anyone else under 35, perhaps under 40.
In order for me to do this, I’ll have to move closer to my church. That’s not happening for at least another two months, and then I don’t know where I’m moving. But, assuming I’m in close proximity to my church (seeing as I don’t drive), I want to get involved with more of the music, Sunday School, VBS type of things. Right now I’m attending a church, but I don’t really feel like I’m truly a part of the church. I’ve been attending for 8/9 months, and I still don’t know who half of the people are. When I leave, will they even miss me? I want a more active role where I’m not just sitting passively for an hour or two and then heading home. I want to make a difference!
