How to crochet a Harry Potter scarf
How I did it: When I started out with this idea I decided that I would try to make this scarf as true to the movies as possible. I watched the first two movies and religiously counted the stripes, paying close attention to what colors are on the ends and how many tassles there are. I took a picture of harry waering the scarf on my phone. Then I went to walmart and bought the colors that I thought resembled the scarf the best. Each stripe is about three inches with twenty one stripes all together. It took a while for me to get into the swing of working on this, but once it started to take shape I worked on it more. It was definitely worth it! The tassles really give the scarf personality as well even though you can't see them in the photo.

My mom told me it didn’t look finished. I forgot exactly what she said, but something about the sides. I dunno, i put fringe on the end and my brother loves it the way it is.
