today i saw death cab for cutie and suffered a little separation anxiety as i did not bring my camera. i think if i would have brought it, i wouldn’t have enjoyed the show that much. i wish they would have played more music from their new cd since i’ve been playing it a lot and i know all of the words from that one and songs from back in the day were in the back of my mind, so i didn’t get to sing along as i much as i would have liked. i completely forgot that soul meets body even existed. i thought they would have played no sunlight because it is kind of poppy and fun, but they played a lot of mellow stuff. i miss of montreal. there were three girls in front of us who only listened to the hits and that was annoying. there were two girls across the aisle from us who were sitting on each other’s lap and who were just texting the ENTIRE time. what is the point of paying $40 to sit and text. you can do that at home. anyway, after the show, we went outside and there were a thousand people and a random limousine. we finally all met up with each other and then i saw a newspaper that said CHAMPS. the red wings won the stanley cup, but i had no idea until just now, really. i thought they won the game that would lead them to the stanley cup game, you know. i am not good at sports. so we drove through detroit, which was loud and crowded and annoying but fun, and we kept going in circles because EVERY STREET EVER is one way only. and you can’t turn right on a red? why is the usa so dumb. we made it out alive, though, which i am happy for. i have a headache. i am happy the tunnel didn’t take 45 minutes again. i seriously was dying on the way over. i bought a dcfc tote bag for $20. i think it should have been less than that, but whatever. i hate when random scary black guys hand you things as seemingly a gift and then ask for $10. that is probably my least favourite thing about detroit. that and their weird steaming sewers. ok bye.
