As a keen believer in Gingerbread, both the book and the cookie, I think this would be wicked cool! So therefor, I plan on making a small town with the following things in it:
-5 houses
-5 people
-5 snowmen
-5 trees
-1 car
-1 christmas tree (aka December 25th tree because I don’t believe in the ‘christ’ part of christmas)
-1 road
-1 park complete with path and trees
YEah. SO…. CHEER ME!!!
I've made a house

The first time I attempted a gingerbread house, Christmas 2003, it turned out brilliantly. I was actually quite surprised with just how well it did turn out, although it took me the best part of a day to make and assemble it all.
My second attempt, Christmas 2004, was much less successful. The plan was that I would make the gingerbread, and we would have a party with another couple to decorate it. I think the problem was that I didn’t bake it for long enough, and the walls ended up being too soft to support the roof. Thus, about 10 minutes into our adventure, the roof caved in and the walls collapsed.
This Christmas, I would really love to make a little village. I don’t have high hopes that it will happen this year with so much already going on, but I’d really like to give it a try anyway.
