democracy now is important to me because it inspires me. from the jazzy music in the intro to goodman’s always collected yet never complicit delivery, it’s something that makes me feel a part of something dynamic, larger, some sort of movement. it makes me believe in an ontological alternative to the corporate shit that has taken over the means of knowledge production throughout the world. in my past few months i’ve had trouble feeling motivated. why do i not watch more democracy now? 18 months ago
