Find a suitable job

Oh the semester is about to end in roughly six weeks. After that, wasteland. There is no end that will support my needs at the end of the year. Honestly, the terror is starting to kick in and it is a deep concern of mine to complete this goal by Dec. 31st. God help me.

Recently I started working as an undergraduate intern genetist at a medical research facility a block from my college. The amazing scientist I work under, same person who runs a lab with 20 people by the way, is very impressed with me. He asked me last Saturday what my plans are (meaning graduate school, medical school or whatever) which I couldn’t really come up with an answer. He cryptically replies “we’ll talk about it in two weeks.” The last time that happened he gave me an internship. Needless to say this is a very good sign a position in his lab might be mine. I plan on however putting together a complete CV soon and start applying to more jobs as a fall back. I’d love to stay with him though since we are really kindred spirits.

The only thing that is certain about my life is that I will continue on in school until at least December. I need a job that pays well on weekend hours, meaning something in the health care industry. It’s a fight with the job market marking down 22% for new graduates. Surprisingly even health care jobs are effected by this decline in the economy. I mean it’s one of the safest industries to work in, how it’s on a hiring freeze is astounding. Well I still need a job regardless. Sigh.

My campus life is going to come to the end,i should find a job,which is suitable for me.And start my new life.
