...of clips to edit. It’s fun but quite time-consuming. I’m using 2 editing softwares: Avidemux 2.6 which is open source and Youtube’s editing suite, which is free too. The challenges I have are the fact that all the editing must be done in one sitting when I use Youtube. No way to safeguard your work half way through. On top of that, there seems to be no way to turn the audio on and off during the clip… It’s all or nothing in that respect. Hmmmmm… Oh well. I’ll find a way sooner or later. 13 months ago
How I did it: In fact, the only problems I encountered were the ones I created. It's very straight forward nowadays, with Youtube. All I needed was to:
- Think about what I wanted to shoot. In my case, it was going to be video logs and travel clips( I have about a dozen to play with)
- Shoot the clips and use Youtube editor to cut, add sounds and intros.
- Use paint to design a simple but customised thumbnail to put to the video.
But I’m having trouble finding a free video editor that is worth its salt. All the ones I come accross are just hooks and you gotta cross their palm with silver to make them do what they are supposed to do… AAAAARGH!Tricky road…. But hey it’s sunny! 13 months ago
I’ll be putting ideas together and shooting a few vlogs. I’ll incorporate them in my blog .
I don’t really want to create a new Youtube Channel from scratch at the moment. I think I’ll just tidy it up a bit for the time being… 13 months ago
... my current one has no clear running theme. I need to ponder over how to make something that is sustainable and marketable. 14 months ago
