j0ho feels shitty
this on the back burner for a while!
How I did it: Desire, discipline and determination. Commiting myself to changing and believeing I could do it. I did the following:
Lessons & tips: I'm now a certified fitness trainer and love helping people to go on their own body transformation journey. I truely believe if you change/improve your body, it has a huge impact on your life and your outlook. But sometimes you need a little nudge in the right direction or a kick with fluffy boots.
Resources: Studying to be a Personal Trainer helped me to understand how to look after my body and how food effected me. Learning hoe to eat to achieve my personal goal (20kg post baby weight) and increase my self esteem. Read, read, read, experiement and find something that works for you and your lifestyle. If something doesn't work for you, you are not a failure, it just wasn't right for you. Try something else. There is always a way if the mind is willing and you have a good support structure around you to motivate you when the going gets tough.

productdesigner contamplating
as every other problem in life, taking care of my body is a continuous and relative process. but being a mechanical product designer i no that by taking small and not so time consuming steps at the right time can improve the productive efficiency of any machine. and there is no machine more complicated than the human body. as i apply the steps to my own body and in life i will post it and hope fully it can be help full to others also.
Kate L is feeling optimistic about her goals.
I feel like in the past year, I’ve completely lost track of my body. Not just my weight, but the whole thing. It’s amazing how you would think that your body would be at the forefront of your mind, considering you’re with it so much. Like, always. But somehow it’s very easy to ignore it, to just look straight ahead and get lost in your mind and the outside world, forgetting that big thing that’s chauffeuring your little brain around.
So aside from the whole “reach my goal weight” goal, which is somewhat different, here is what it would mean for me to take better care of my body:
- eat healthier, with way more fruits and veggies
- take vitamin supplements
- deal with my gross feet
- stretch and/or do yoga to get my body more flexible
- exercise and tone up
- drink more water
- exfoliate and moisturize
- get a facial
- stop letting my legs get like wooly mammoths
- get manicures
I’d just really like to get to know my body again and stop pretending that it doesn’t exist.
feedusfetus is going to Peru in February
I had been having these terrible stomach aches, so I went to the doctor, and he told me I was getting a stomach ulcer! Ohhh no. Well, it’s ok, because since it was in the early stages, he gave me some medicine that would make it go away. For the time being. He told me not to be so stressed. That’s a pretty hard thing to do. He also told me not to drink so much caffeine. That’s a nightmare. Caffeine is pretty close to my favorite drug. Water it is from now on! So far so good. I’m not gonna like this.
LauraBeth1 is starting to feel better again
This means eating right, exercising, not drinking too much, never smoking, moisturising, having nice long baths when I need to wind down… Looking after it, rather than abusing it!
Robert Hsu is now relaxed, waiting to go home.
Teeth is spoiled, hair is falling, developing a fat tummy, not doing much exercise.
On the bright side I have started to take a brisk evening walk after work when I am not too late.

Emily wants Obama to be her president !
I don’t really want to lose weight because that’s one of my other goals – accept my body as it is. I just want to take better care of myself. Eat better food, get some exercise, take my vitamins, I might even see when I start my job at the spa if I can’t start getting a massage every once in awhile.
