I might have to go to a pharmacist or a doctor, tonight. I’ve been having problems with my stomach for a few days now, and I almost cannot eat at all. I get the constant sensation of being completely full. Like when you finish dinner and you ate way too much, but it’s a constant feeling, even when I don’t eat. And whenever I try to eat a tiny little bit, it gets stronger and I get almost sick.
Plus, I have a little cold, but it’s nothing really important.

Went to get a massage in the middle of the week. One of my body’s all-time favourite things.
As part of the massage he used a brush to exfoliate my skin. For some reason this evoked the feeling that I was a dog being given a good scratch, particularly down my back. Made me feel quite pleased, as if I was being rewarded for being a good dog…
Weird but the body likes what it likes.

Over the last year I’ve not gotten into regular exercise habits and I’ve spent a lot of time leaning forward and hunching into my laptop, and always feeling slightly at odds with my posture at a given moment. I was becoming a bit annoyed and concerned at how hard I found it to sit up straight comfortably and at all the little aches and pains that would announce themselves.
Recently I’ve started taking weekly dance classes. One of them is contemporary dance and the other is Bollywood dance. The contemporary dance class makes my body feel so good – happy during the dancing and completely relaxed, loose and naturally healthy afterwards. The Bollywood class… well that’s just entertaining :) Makes me aware of body areas I don’t usually use in regular life, I like that.
I think my body needs a wide range of movement, and bigger movements more often, to feel really comfortable. This is a really nice, non-painstaking way to take care of my body.

Kate L is feeling optimistic about her goals.
I feel like in the past year, I’ve completely lost track of my body. Not just my weight, but the whole thing. It’s amazing how you would think that your body would be at the forefront of your mind, considering you’re with it so much. Like, always. But somehow it’s very easy to ignore it, to just look straight ahead and get lost in your mind and the outside world, forgetting that big thing that’s chauffeuring your little brain around.
So aside from the whole “reach my goal weight” goal, which is somewhat different, here is what it would mean for me to take better care of my body:
- eat healthier, with way more fruits and veggies
- take vitamin supplements
- deal with my gross feet
- stretch and/or do yoga to get my body more flexible
- exercise and tone up
- drink more water
- exfoliate and moisturize
- get a facial
- stop letting my legs get like wooly mammoths
- get manicures
I’d just really like to get to know my body again and stop pretending that it doesn’t exist.

Well Shit!!!
I had been having these terrible stomach aches, so I went to the doctor, and he told me I was getting a stomach ulcer! Ohhh no. Well, it’s ok, because since it was in the early stages, he gave me some medicine that would make it go away. For the time being. He told me not to be so stressed. That’s a pretty hard thing to do. He also told me not to drink so much caffeine. That’s a nightmare. Caffeine is pretty close to my favorite drug. Water it is from now on! So far so good. I’m not gonna like this.

This means eating right, exercising, not drinking too much, never smoking, moisturising, having nice long baths when I need to wind down… Looking after it, rather than abusing it!

Bobby Hsu is now relaxed, waiting to go home.
Teeth is spoiled, hair is falling, developing a fat tummy, not doing much exercise.
On the bright side I have started to take a brisk evening walk after work when I am not too late.
