ahhh. i never get enought sleep, i love the night :( but im always so tired the next day… I’m working on it though
a huge part of me being able to sleep at night is because my work schedule became fixed. i get off at around 9pm. have to be at work at noon. so my night life is still pretty cool since everything starts to happen at around 11. then i just need to be awake by 10am. (i’m abut late sometimes, but i’m taking baby steps!)
so basically, it’s because i don’t have a choice anymore. haha.
it also helped that i am working around a routine. i can’t seem to sleep without metathione and i spray lavender scented linen spray before going to bed. just things that tell your mind it’s sleeping time:) oh and getting exposed to sunlight in the morning also helps.
hansisalive is reporting every boring detail of his life to the world.
I seem to follow a 48-hour sleep cycle. I stay up all night, then I crash and sleep for a whole day. I’ve tried everything to regulate my sleep. I set 3 alarm clocks (I sleep through all of them). Ambien, Ativan, and Klonopin do nothing for me. I might as well be taking tic-tacs at night. I don’t know what to do. It gets especially boring when I’m wide awake and all my friends are asleep so there’s no one to talk to. -and then there’s the sleeping through appointments problem.
I just don’t sleep..
I’ll stay up all night thinking until like 5 in the morning when i just pass out. But really it can’t be all that healthy and i should stop dwellling and stressing during the time i should be in a deep unconscious state… HELP

. i just don’t get tired until around 9 am. :(.. so I wake up around 2.. So i still get jipped of 2 hours of sleep.. like right now it’s 2:22 am.. but it feels like 3 in the afternoon to me… like I should go for a walk… any suggestions?
3 nights in a row I got the kid to sleep in his own bed. 2 out of 3 nights he stayed there till the morning. And the catch is, I actually stayed in bed after he went to sleep. I’ve been up since 10:30 and it’s almost 12:30 and he’s still sleeping. So I’ve had some time to read, exercise, eat and work on some of my artwork. Hang in there guys. It’s a great feeling to get up with the rest of the world.
i set the alarm clock at 9am… when it went off, i was right in the middle of a sweet dream…. i just couldn’t let it go unfinished. so i gave myself a couple more minutes to continue yet it became four more hours of sleeping in bed.
i had a call to make at 1pm and i got up at 12:56!!! if it were not because of the call, i would still be in bed. i know it is an issue of self discipline. when i have to, i do things; but when i have the chance to push back, i avoid…
well, when classes start, i will have to!!
Since Christmas 2007, I have been sleeping during the day and staying up all night – this needs to be stopped ASAP. I know this will cause conflict with some of the goals and will have problems finishing all the stuff I want to finish for that day, but a healthy life style is more important in the long run. And it will provide me the energy and the ultimate motivation for living a good life. So, here I am – cutting the cord of night and end my glorious owl life – for now, at least. :)
And, sad to say, my toddler stays up too. I really want to do this for him so that he doesn’t have this habit when it’s time to go to school. And I need to do this for me because I can’t accomplish much without getting a good night sleep.
