I quite enjoyed this book. Interesting ideas. I read it back in high school for AP European History and I’ve re-read it a few times since.

I read the biography of Machiavelli on the first page, and never got any further before returning it to the library. I’m reading like 10 other books right now that are keeping my attention a lot more.
I’m not giving up on this goal, though. I guess I’ll just keep procrastinating.
Today I checked it out of the library. A good start, no?
I have to admit, the only reason I really have this thing on my list is so that I can finally understand the meaning of the word “Machiavellian,” and maybe once in a while throw it into conversation myself. Correctly, that is. And I’ll probably get a better sense of the definition from the book than just from the old dictionary. (Or will I?)
