Yeah look… maybe one day.
How to keep my home tidy
How I did it: I've de-cluttered every cupboard, drawer, wardrobe and surface. I've thrown out anything that doesn't work, fit or serve a purpose. I'm not prescious about my home but I just maintain the basics everyday. Clean kitchen, bathroom, Make beds, Puff cusions ect. It doesn't take long and makes me feel at peace. then I can relax and get on with other things.
Lessons & tips: Put things back where they belong . . . . Give everything a home.
Resources: Bin bags. hoover. Kim and Agies How clean is you house.

Definitely have been working hard on this one. When a room is perfect I shut the door on it. Its like giving myself a tick. My bedroom is quite untidy but I obtained loads more hangers today so tomorrow I can have a bash at sorting out all the clothes around.

Seriously ….. Tidy house tidy mind. Can’t wait to start this one.
I’ve worked out the solution to tidying a home – move house!! Did so four weeks ago and I’m finding it much easier to keep a place tidy from scratch!
Kitchen is finished and looks good, also tidied the lounge and cleaned the bathroom. next week’s challenge is to sort out the dining room, which is full of junk and books.
Hmmm, I@m so rubbish – bathroom hasn’t had a thorough clean since the last entry and neither has anywhere else, until this week, when I’ve suddenly found some energy. Kitchen is clean and shiny (just need to sweep the floor once more once it’s dry) and downstairs loo is nice and clean too. More to come …
This has been a really tricky one,. We moved in with my then-fiancĂ© (now husband) last August and had the job of filling his already-full small 3-bed house with the entire contents of our quite large 2-bed. It wasn’t easy and a lot of stuff is still in boxes, either around the house or in the garage. And the mess has piled up and piled up, and we both work and are too knackered by the weekend to do anything, so it’s now a filthy messy dump rather than a home.
But I’ve jsut changed my shifts at work and have a little free time so I’ve decided to use Thursday mornings to spring clean the house, a room at a time. Today was the first day of this new regime and I cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom, threw out all the empty bottles, washed the bath mats, scrubbed the manky grout and generally made it shine. Feel good for doing it! Next week – the kitchen.
